Romans 12:1-3, “1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”
Paul is instructing us how to live a reasonable Christian life. He states the great exchange (my life for Jesus’) another way in 1 Corinthian 15:31, “…I die daily” and in the passage II Corinthians 4:10,11, “10always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.”
As the revelation comes, it will be easy to do the works of Jesus. A steady diet of the Word of God and meditation of the Word will speed your growth.
Be blessed as you continue to grow in God’s love and in His grace.
In His love,
